When designing the NiteMax™, Carson made it our goal to create a simplified way for users who didn't want a lot of "bells and whistles" when using a night vision device. The mission was to make an economical option that still performed well in both ambient lighting, and total darkness, without distractions. First, open it up. Then, place your three AAA batteries in the unit. After that, turn it on (remember, it doesn’t have auto-on). You'll easily view everything through the unit's large screen.
