The Shield Support Hook is designed to reduce the load-carrying fatigue from extended shield deployment on the user by allocating shield weight onto the attachment. The shield support hook is easily attached to various modular webbing and web less tactical carriers and plate rack systems by a snap mechanism, and adjustable for specific shield user accommodations.

The L-shaped design functions as a stable platform for shields, while allowing for expedient donning and doffing of equipment.
